Your On the Air
To my surprise late last week I got an e-mail from Access Radio in Wellington. They were contacting me because they were planning a show based around kiwi podcasters and they had run into my little site
NZ Beats Podcast. One of the co-hosts Yenping and I got to talking and she ended up doing an interview for her show.
First I have to say, Yenping did a fantastic job of making me feel at easy. I usually get quite nervous in these sorts of situations, but this was just like having a conversation with an old friend. She also talked me up, a lot. My head size tripled in size while listening to the show, made me feel quite proud of myself and NZ Beats.
I have the interview bellow for your listening pleasure, but I would suggest heading over to the Access Radio Blog and listening to the whole show there. That way you’ll also be able to hear another interview with a different kiwi podcaster Tom whose podcast, Like a Mad Dog Running through a Puddle of Gravy, consists of him and his brother shooting the shit about an array of different topics.

d.vice Prize Pack
Ok, so Ivy and I were doing some late night shopping at Pack n’ Save the other night and when driving home we were listening to Kiwi Fm. They were doing some sex talk show where you can call or right in questions and their sexpert answers them for you. Anywho, they happened to be giving away a Sex Gear prize pack from
d.vice a designer sex gear store. To go in the draw all you had to do was text the radio station with your details. So I thought sure why not and text them.
To my surprise two days later a package arrived at my door. Inside was my prize pack. The pack included; a Shower Micro-Vibe, some organic water based Lub, a Clit Clip, a d.vice sticker and some d.vice brochures for other products they sell.
The Clit Clip is the craziest thing there. It looks kinda like a giant paper clip that has been bent a little differently. To tell you the truth it kinda freaks me out a bit. Looks painful, but hey to each their own I say.
