New Year Resolutions

New Year Resolutions

January 1st is upon us which means it’s time to set a bunch of New Years Resolutions that we will forget about in a week or two. Not to be left out I have found myself thinking about things I would like to change for 2009.

To start, I have really packed on the pounds since moving back to New Zealand. I would love to get back to my Taiwanese self. I was going to the gym in Taiwan plus eating alot more rice and fish there. Instead of suggesting I work out and lose weight I’m going to say I want to eat more rice and less cheese and leave it at that.

After watching “The Visitor” the other night I also have a craving to learn an Instrument. Of course the chances of this are slim to none, so might have to settle for getting better at Guitar Hero. At least that way I feel like I’m a legend.

I have also had a couple of website projects fluttering around in that big canyon between my ears lately. I would love to stop procrastinating and get them off the ground.

How about you guys? What are your New Years Resolutions.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year

2009 is here! Ivy and I spent our last minutes of 2008 with friends at our flat. It was a bit of a reunion for the boys. Nick, Simon and Dixon were here with their respective dates, Carolyn, Jillian and Tarren.

We drank and told stories of old. When it was getting close to the New Years count down we turned on the tele…. in typical New Zealand style there was only movies on T.V. No countdown!! So in the end we youtubed the New Years song and had our own count down.

We walked into town after and hit a couple of bars in Popular Lane and Sol. Square. Sat down amongst the party goers, talked some more and dealt with asshole bartenders that didn’t like serving us waters. A couple of hours of this and we started to head home. Taxi’s were impossible to get, so we walked home.

To all of you who I didn’t already text before running out of money on my phone Happy New Year! I hope 2009 treats you fairly and happiness finds you.
