Flea Market
Ivy and I made our first trip to the Lyttlelton Markets today. We started at the Flea Market. Now the idea behind Flea Markets as I understand it, is that one person’s garbage is another person’s treasure. Keeping that in mind I’m still unable to see how anyone would be interested in the pure junk that was for offer at this Flea Market. Granted there were only a few stalls there today, probably due to the new year.

Farmer's Market
Next we hit up the Farmer’s Market which was a lot better with a bunch of stalls selling organic fruit and veges. We bought some organic aubergine for tonight’s dinner. We also got a wedge of Gouda cheese infused with spices to go with some freshly baked bagels. I’m sure we will return to the Lyttelton Markets another weekend, but I will check out the Sumner Market first.
