I decided to give Vlogging, or “Video Blogging” a go. This is my first attempt during which I talk about why I want to try vlogging and introduce myself a little.

Pipis Preschool

Last Friday, was my last day at Lollipops Educare. I left not really for greener pastures, but for different pastures.

As some of you will know I really want to open my own preschool one day. In order to do that I need to learn how to run one. That’s one of the opportunities my new job is offering me. Plus my new centre is a smaller with only 25 children a day instead of up to 75 at Lollipops. I like the smaller more homely feel. At times Lollipops seemed way to much like a business. Don’t get me wrong a preschool is a business and needs to be run like one if you want to keep it open, but that doesn’t mean that it needs to feel or even look like it to the teachers, parents and children.

Today, I started my new job at Pipi’s Preschool. I actually worked at Pipi’s for 3 weeks earlier in the year while doing a teaching practice for University. I enjoyed it so much I decided to move. That being said Pipi’s also needs a lot of work. The staff are great but things aren’t running the best in my eyes.

Of course, things can change and my views of what is optimal will change as well. I’m just looking forward to learning a lot and pushing myself into more of a leadership role at my new centre.

Life Through a Child's Eye

Imagine life is like a magic trick, spirituality is the magician and happiness is the real sense of magic. When you are a child, you see the magic trick and accept it as magic and view it with wonder. When you’re an adult you recognize the magic trick as an illusion, it starts to lose it’s magic as you try to search out it’s secrets. Once you start to focus on the magician and learn the secrets the real sense of magic is lost.

When you are a child, you see life, accept it for what it is and view it with wonder. When you’re an adult you try to search out the secrets of life instead. Once you start to seek spirituality and try to learn the secrets your real happiness is lost.

Just like with the child in the first example who is the happiest when he is oblivious to the magician and just sees the magic trick a views it with the wonder of a child. We are happiest when we are oblivious to spirituality and just see life and view it with the wonder of a child.

If I could see the world
Thru the eyes of a child
What a wonderful world this would be
There’d be no trouble and no strife
Just a big happy life
With a bluebird in every tree

I could see right, no wrong
I could see good, no bad
I could see all the good things
In life I’ve never had
If I could see the world
Thru the eyes of a child

Smiling faces would greet me all the while
Like a lovely work of art

Just to see thru the eyes of a child.

My Mind Just Imploded

Zeitgeist The Movie

Ok, my mind just imploded! I just sat down and watched a movie called Zeigeist. You won’t find this in the theaters, on the television or even at your local blockbuster. You can however, find it available for download online at www.zeitgeistmovie.com.

This movie in a nut shell shows you that religion owns your ass, the government owns the religion’s ass, and the central banks owns the government’s ass. It is scary, scary shit.
