Slumdog Millionaire
Finally got around to seeing Slumdog Millionaire tonight. I loved it. I am hard to please in movies, well that’s not true. I like a lot movies; Kung Fu Hustle, Terminator 2, Star Wars, Princess Bride all great movies throughout my life. But I don’t often love movies, that honor is saved for a select few; Boondock Saints, Amile, The Shawshank Redemption and now Slumdog Millionaire. These are movies that do more that entertain, they make you think, they make you feel, and most of all they leave an everlasting impression on you. Make you see the world through new eyes. So do yourself a favor and go and see this movie.
Who cares about your emotional ruminations…that Indian chick is smokin' hot…
However,to play your game, yes a certain altruistic feeling came over me,a desire
for world egalitarianism even…the juxtaposition of different layers of social experience
was truly fascinating. How did a clog wearing Lancastrian manage all this?Danny Boyle
must have hung out at some interesting curry houses oop norf…
The film transcends its setting, hinting at a universality that taps into the human dynamic
of us all…(excluding me)…
I bet that scene where he jumps into the hole of shit brought back some nice memories of your childhood.
Actually,it reminded me of my first day at the Halswell Superliquorland…
