Eco Bags

Eco Bags are all the rage right now. You know the ones, made of some sort of fabric meant to be used instead of plastic bags. Great for the world right?

No! Now don’t get me wrong, it’s great for the environment to stop using plastic bags, but think about this. Almost every store and supermarket out there has their own brand eco bags for sale. To be competitive stores are selling them for cheap, really cheap. I’ve seen them for as low as 60 cents. 60 cents people, how the fuck do you make one of these bags for that cheap? Child labor or some other type of foreign labor that are getting a couple of cents a day for their work.

So next time you think about buying one, have a think about how it was made.

Ivy ended up making her own bags because she wanted to do good by the earth but couldn’t bring herself to purchase one.
