Mother’s Day 09
May 10th, 2009 Filed under: Life | Tags: family, mother Mother’s Day today. The weather is shit. Hasn’t stopped raining all day. Not to mention, it’s as cold as a polar bears behind. But all that doesn’t matter because today’s the day we celebrate our mothers and their contribution to our lives. My mum is the strongest woman I know. She has been through all the highs and lows that life could throw at her, and came out the other end smiling. She’s kind, always ready and able to help others around her. She has always provided me with the essentials in life and has taught me how to be the man I am today. I owe everything to my mother.
So a big hug and kiss for you mum. Keep up the good work and kia kaha! Hope you enjoy the Carrot Cake Ivy and I made for you!
Also happy mother’s day to C.O. (Commanding Officer) my mum’s mum, who is here in New Zealand with my Aunt Carolyn for the next month.

thanks for the lovely comments Ki. It’s a pleasure to be your mum.
Ki – your comments are so true and well said.
