Saw this music video for the first time last week. At first I didn’t like the song, but the video was so good I just kept watching. Now the song is growing on me because I can’t get enough of the video.

Time Is Not Much by Ladi6
Most of you know I run New Zealand’s #1 music podcast over at
www.nzbeats.com. So as you can imagine I listen to a lot of kiwi music. Well lately I have been relaxing to Ladi6′s debut album Time is Not Much. I have liked Ladi6 since way back in the day when she was in New Zealand’s first all-girl hip-hop group Sheelahroc. Their hit track If I Gave You The Mic is still a classic today which gets regular airplay on my iPod. In fact, I still remember hitting up The Jetset Lounge to catch her and Scribe in Verse 2 with Simon before they left Christchurch to make it big up north.
Now after a decade Ladi6 has released her debut solo album and it is worth the wait. More often than not albums these days have one or two good songs on them and a bunch of rushed b-side tracks. Time Is Not Much is definitely an exception to that rule with 11 excellent tracks featuring some of New Zealand’s top musicians. But it’s Ladi6′s album and she really pulls it altogether to make this a must get for any music collection. It’s in my top 5 New Zealand albums of 2008.

I guess Sia doesn't want the publicity
Thanks for that. I have now changed it over to Vimeo for your viewing pleasure.
